Lee Lue: The T-28 Legend

Statue
9.5x5, Stone

Lee Lue was one of the first two Hmong fighter pilots who was taught to fly US WW II T-28 aircraft. His American teacher knew that Lee Lue was a legend from the beginning. After six months of training, Lee Lue began to assist General Vang Pao and his Hmong soldiers from the air. He was known by all to be the best fighter pilot at the time, "including American." In less than two years, he flew over 5,000 combat missions, a world record that has not been surpassed.

This is the statue of Lee Lue, the legend of T-28 who said "fly until you die." This statue came in two colors, green and brown.
