Painting, 24"x36"by Yang TongheWu Bayue (Vwj Paj Yias) was the king of the Hmong in China who led one of the biggest and bloodiest rebellions against the Qing government which started in 1795 and lasted until 1806. He was captured and killed after a few years into the rebellion.
King Wu Bayue was known to be a great king with exceptional skills of martial art. His sword was said to be over 50 pounds in weight. He lived in the village of Ping Long, near today's Feng Huang City.
